Well, well, I think "Slideshow" will have to go on tomorrow's visual timetable, don't you?

Hi Guys! I've been getting to know the new school over the last few days, there's lots of new stuff to learn about! I'm not teaching a class at the moment so instead of having a classroom I'm working in an office with a fancy black swivel chair! In September I'll be teaching 3rd and 4th Class together. This new school is out in the countryside, so it's very different to Joey's really, the yard is much quieter, there are less pupils and yes, boys and girls come to this school. Bye for now, Ciarán

Hello Principal Caulfield,

How are you doing?
We will visit you and give you a lolly on September 24th.

Sam was Fanno's helper on Sports Day. Colin hurt his arm yesterday evening. He broke his wrist in two places. It was Dylan's first Sports Day and he loved it. Dylan and Jack did the three-legged race and got a silver medal each. Craig won a bronze medal in Discus.

Scott just got back from Portugal on Sunday and today was his first day back at school.

Sam got a gold medal for helping Fanno. Colin got a golden medal for winning the Tug-o-War with Ms Stewart's class.

We went to the Charleville Mall library today. We started studying Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We got 88% on the online questions.

Good-bye for now from the lads in Room 9A,
Sam
Colin
Dylan
Jack
Craig
Scott

Hi again! That's great news about the sports day and the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory reading - well done to everyone! Not so great about Colin, poor you Colin, I hope it's not too sore and you're still able to do the Joey's Siopa and feed your cats! Welcome back to Ireland Scott! Well done to your cousin Craig, I saw her on Fame Academy at the weekend! Also, well done to Sam for helping out with Sports Day and to Dylan B and Jack for enjoying sports day!

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing you all out here on the 24th September, I hope it'll be a sunny day so we can do some fun stuff outside. This school looks really great in the sunshine and we've a big field to play in on the school grounds. There are loads of lovely trees in front of the school too, some with edible apples already growing on them. There's a horse and foal in the field next door and peacocks and pheasants pass through the school grounds too! At night there are foxes and bats about!

I'll take a few photos of the new school tomorrow and email them to Wendy to show you all - maybe even one of me in a tie swiveling on my chair!!! :) Toodle ooh for now, Ciarán
