On Thursday 23rd of April we had an assembley in the hall. We did a concert for Ace Insurance, who were just finished helping decorate our yard. So, after the concert our principal Fanno announced the 4 boys who were going to Liverpool. We had found out a few days before the assembley. He announced the boys, we got a cheer, and went back to work.
On Sunday 3rd May we went to Liverpool with Mr.MacDonald, Mike and his son. We arrived in Manchester Airport at 11 o'clock. Then we drove to Liverpool. We stopped at McDonald's and got something to eat. Me, Steven, Matas and Thomas ordered chicken nuggets and chips. We finished our stuff, got back in the car and drove to Anfield. Mike parked in a car park close to Anfield and we walked up. Outside there was a man selling badges, scarves and caps. I bought a scarf for £7.
We went around the gates of Liverpool and we saw the Hillsborough Memorial. I took a few photos of it and then we went into Anfield to see the game. So, we went to our seats and I took a few photos of Pepe Reina warming up. Kick off was just moments away.
20 minutes away from the end of the game, Liverpool scored a screamer of a goal which made it 2-0 to Liverpool. In the 90th minute, Liverpool scored another goal and it was all over for Newcastle United.
After the game we returned to the car and drove to the LFC Shop in Liverpool city. Then we walked up the road to where The Beatles were discovered. Then we went to Eddie Rockets and I got chicken tenders and triple ice cream.
Then we went back to the airport to a shop that sold Manchester United, Liverpool and The Beatles stuff. I bought Man.United flights for my darts. Then, we were on the plane and went home. It was a great day out! THE END. By Ciarán Kelly
